ABOUT ME 

Hello

I'm Miranda Piecharka, a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a Certified Music Therapist (MTA), and my work is grounded in body-based approaches and nervous system education that support regulation and trauma-informed understanding.

I’m drawn to this work because nervous system education offers a way to understand responses without blame — and to support change without forcing the system beyond what it can hold.

I view stress responses, emotional patterns, and coping strategies as adaptive. They develop in response to lived experience, context, and nervous system capacity. Rather than seeing these responses as problems to fix, I approach them as information — signals that can be listened to, understood, and supported over time.

People often describe this work as steady and grounded. It prioritizes clarity over complexity and education over pressure. This is not fast or directive work, and it isn’t focused on pushing through discomfort in the name of growth. Instead, it’s about creating enough understanding and support for the nervous system to respond differently when it’s ready.
